Current Situation on Flotation of Cu-Pb-Zn Sulfide Ore …
restraining Pb to get Cu has been widely used. The combined depressants of "K2Cr2O4+CMC+ Z-200" was used to treat a lead-zinc concentrate from Nanjing [dy restraining lead to get copper 16]. As the bulk concentrate contained 50.8% Pb and 3.2% Cu, lead concentrate contained 6.58% Cu and copper concentrate contained 0.59% Pb …

Feasibility Study of Differential Flotation of Cu–Pb–Zn …
In this research, flotation of copper, lead and zinc minerals from a copper oxide–sulfide ore was studied. The identification tests showed that the sample is a mixture of quartz, chalcopyrite, galena, cerussite, hemimorphite and iron oxide minerals with 5.04% CuO, 1.61% PbO, 2.07% ZnO and 56.40% SiO2. The experimental design methodology …

Features and Flotation of Complex Cu-Pb-Zn Sulphides
Abstract. Problems arising during flotation of complex Cu-Pb-Zn sulphide ores are in general of geological origin. The features of these ores are reviewed, stressing that mineralogical studies extending to process mineralogy are prerequisite for a consistent flotation process. Some examples affecting flotation are given.

1. Introduction. Metals including Cu, Pb, Ni and Zn are commonly found in wastewater, with discharges of these metals influencing the chemistry and biology of receiving waters, with potentially toxic implications (Jaishankar et al., 2014).Regulatory drivers therefore typically require concentrations of these metals to be reduced in the …

Metal mining extraction and concentration need water. The recycling of liquid effluents reduces its consumption. This recycled water must contain low concentrations of metals. This project's first objective was to start up a laboratory-scale upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor for biotransforming metal sulfates into metal sulfides of …

The underground extraction of Pb-Zn mineralization in the Touiref area stopped in 1958. A large volume of flotation tailings (more than 500 Mt) containing sulfides were deposited in a tailings impoundment. The goals of this study are to evaluate the neutralization capacity of the unoxidized and oxidized tailings, to assess the speciation of …

Coagulation–flocculation process with metal salts
Even though 0.20 mg/L provided the highest removal of Cu and Pb, a lower rate of addition was considered optimal for the purposes of this study in order to minimise the inadvertent addition of Ni. The optimum rate of addition was 0.10 mg/L, which produced removal rates of 48% for Cu, 56% for Pb and 41% for Zn.
