ITB. ITBS. ITBFS. Runner's Knee. Call it what you want, issues with the Iliotibial Band can be a bugger to treat. A quick search on the Runner's World Forum shows over 3500 posts on the ITB. With so many people encountering this problem I thought it was the ideal place to start when creating a blog about running injuries. So here goes….

The 20 V 4age used MAF. The real advantage to individual throttle bodies is that you can run much more aggressive cam timings and still get a reasonable idle quality, because the nearly closed throttles at each inlet reduces the backflow during overlap.

20v cams in contrast come with a higher amount of lift from the factory compared, and also a larger duration. factory big port cams are 240° deg and 7.5mm lift compared to smallport which are 230° deg and 7mm lift. 20v cams start at 8mm lift and 250° deg duration, so baby cams for a 20v are in the 260° deg range.

20v ITBs will be fine. in fact the pulsar ones will be fine too unless ur going for big power but ae101/ae111 will do just fine. i have 20v bodies on my 4age and it runs 240bhp with NOS and shes brand new shampoo. Bodies alone and management shud free up some torque on the midrange and slap some cams in for some more power top end.

IT Band Stretches to Relieve Iliotibial Band Syndrome
Pull back a bit, and then place your bottom foot on the side of your top knee. Pull the foot on your knee toward the floor gently, elongating the outer part of your top thigh. Feel a stretch in the side of your knee where the IT band crosses the knee. Hold the stretch for 15 to 20 seconds, and then release. Repeat 3 to 5 times.

Definately better throttle responce because you will have a smaller throttle opening at low throttle angles. This make for better responce. You also will ahve better mixture control using ITBs as the fuel will atomize better thus making more power with the same amount of fuel. See more.

The tiny ports are either. under the edge of the butterfly, or slightly in front... atmospheric side. Those. hoses just go throttle to throttle, and do nothing (same as blocking off).

You can use a dremel, a die grinder or a round file. You will have to fiddle with the linkages between each ITB as they will not be spaced to suit the SR20 and you'll need to make an air box to mount the AFM to so the stock ecu can still function correctly. Essentially you'll end up with an adaptor like this.
